The design is taken from a hit anime series called Full metal alchemist, there are literally thousands of different combinations of styles you can produce with an alchemy circle for all over the body.

One example is what i produced with the help of a freind because i suck at drawing:

The one i chose specifically is one that appears only once in the whole 26 hours of the fma series. The circle for transmuting a human being. Forbidden by law and thought to be impossible.
