Default Ink on feet?

My first tattoo is being planned, and I am thinking of the top of my right foot. I have heard mix reviews about ink on feet, and have heard it wears much faster, which makes sense. Any thoughts out there on inked feet?

I have my foot tattooed. It didnt turn out the way I wanted it. It never healed properly. I had it touched up a couple of times too, but mine was nearer to the side of my foot. The ink took im most of the stars it just looks bad in one part.

My wife has a butterfly tattooed on the top of her foot, it healed real good. I imagine if you could wear sandels while it was healing, it might heal better, with less amount of wear and tear on the tattoo. That what my wife did. I suggest doing it in the summer, not the winter like my wife did, winters in northeast ohio suck.

Thank you! We were in to see Ben Moss yesterday in Seattle at apocalypsetattoo and in asking his opinion, he thought it would be OK. I am not having the whole of my foot covered, just something that goes from the top, mid foot, up around my ankle....but that was my concern....was whether it would wear off too much....
thanks for the feedback....Kiki
